with one of the building about 2.5km away.. no road signs to this little office..
having to do passport clearance at immigration, customs for the vehicle and insurance, you have to run 5 departments.. and that is scattered all over the place, not only from one officer to another but from buildings to buildings
where is the immigration..? hmm, nobody will stop you even if you walk right in... now, it's your duty to go hunting how to go about with the clearance.. 
10.30am. Set foot on Laos.. a country with 5 neighbors but without a coast.. most bombed country in the past century, especially by the US during the Vietnam war.. a war they were not even directly involved.. how sad..
