7 days in Laos covering only the Northwest..
PHEW...!!! What a relief to be riding on the 'right' side of the road again.. many times I was comfortably riding on the wrong side, but good thing I have a good jockey that will whip me to get back on my side..
boarder crossing is much easier here in the capital city.. the immigration and customs are side by side.. within 15 mins I got both done, having to pay bht80 (lucky BHT excepted as I do not have Kip anymore..) for the vehicle.. and off I go... riding across Friendship Bridge 1 to Nong Khai in Thailand
the town in Vientiane to the boarder is only about 16km..
setting off late at about 11am..
