Angkor -5th Mar

Angkor Wat, one of the biggest temple which is surounded by water..


















Ta Prohm, where Raiders of the lost Arc was filmed..
most of the huge Fig trees here are a few hundred years old..
some of the Buddhist temples here was initially built a Hindu temple.. while some were changed from Buddhist to Hindu according to the king in throne at that time..

reached the first complex, Angkor Thom..
things are really expensive here.. usd7/ to town in a 10 mins ride.. more ex then S'pore standard..
Siem Reap International airport.. Jayne arrived at 7am joining me here in Siem Reap for 2 days. Riding up to Phon Phem for another 4 days before flying back to S'pore

  2. well, must ppl says at least 3 days to see some of the 30 over temples in the complex.. one French man said he took a week while his friend decided to stay here 3 mths.. I took only half day an felt i've seen all..
